Welcome to Harbor District Roleplay Community ("HDRP," "we," "us," "our," or "the Server"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, Discord server, and FiveM game server (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to use Discord, whichever is higher. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf, particularly with respect to any purchases made through the Services.
HDRP operates a Grand Theft Auto V roleplay community built on the FiveM platform, along with an associated Discord server and this website. The website provides staff and community tools including, but not limited to, department and staff applications, a member resource portal, server policy information, and an online store for optional digital purchases.
Access to most features of the Services requires authentication through Discord. By connecting your Discord account, you authorize us to access your Discord user ID, username, and avatar for the purpose of identifying you within our systems. We do not have access to your Discord password and cannot access your Discord account beyond the permissions you explicitly grant during login.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own Discord account. We are not liable for any actions taken through the Services as a result of a compromised Discord account that is not our fault.
Use of our Discord server and FiveM game server is governed by our published Server Rules and Server Policies, available at harbordistrictrp.com/rules and harbordistrictrp.com/policies. Violation of these policies may result in warnings, kicks, temporary or permanent bans, blacklisting, or other moderation action at the sole discretion of our staff team.
Moderation decisions, including bans, kicks, warnings, and blacklist entries, are made at the reasonable discretion of our staff and are considered final. We are under no obligation to provide detailed justification for moderation actions, though staff will act in good faith and in accordance with our internal policies.
The Services allow you to submit applications for in-game departments and for staff positions. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. All application decisions are made at the sole discretion of the relevant department leadership, staff team, or server ownership. We reserve the right to reject any application without providing a specific reason, and to remove or revoke a granted role or position at any time for any reason related to community conduct.
The Services offer two separate categories of paid purchases, processed through two different payment providers depending on what you're buying:
All purchases are subject to our Return Policy. Purchases made through either provider grant no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and exist solely within the context of our Discord server, community, or FiveM server as applicable.
We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or remove any purchasable item at any time. Access to purchased digital goods (such as a Discord role) is contingent on your continued good standing within the community and may be revoked if your account is banned or blacklisted for violating our Server Policies, without entitlement to a refund except as described in our Return Policy.
Certain items offered through our storefront are structured as voluntary monthly recurring donations rather than one-time purchases. Donating is entirely optional at every tier and is never required to join, play, or participate in our community - all members are welcome regardless of whether they choose to support us financially.
A donation, whether one-time or recurring, does not grant you any ownership interest or equity in HDRP, does not make you a staff or management member, and does not give you authority over community decisions. Donations do not guarantee special treatment, preferential moderation, immunity from server rules, or any in-game advantage. All members remain subject to the same rules and policies regardless of financial support. Funds received through donations may be put toward expenses associated with operating and improving the community, including hosting, infrastructure, development, and related costs.
In addition to our Server Policies, you agree not to: (a) use the Services for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, including staff-restricted areas of the website; (c) interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services, including through the use of bots, scripts, or automated tools not explicitly authorized by us; (d) impersonate any person or entity, including staff members; or (e) submit false, fraudulent, or duplicate applications.
HDRP is an independent, unofficial roleplay community built using the FiveM modification platform for Grand Theft Auto V. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games, or Cfx.re, and all trademarks related to Grand Theft Auto remain the property of their respective owners. Original content created by our team - including our website, branding, logo, and written materials - remains our property and may not be reproduced without permission. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Your use of the Services, including our FiveM game server, is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HDRP and its staff, volunteers, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services, including but not limited to loss of in-game progress, loss of access to purchased digital goods due to a moderation action, or any Discord-related account issues.
We may suspend or terminate your access to any or all of the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, our Server Policies, or is otherwise harmful to the community.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
