Harbor District RP
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Harbor District Roleplay Community ("HDRP," "we," "us," "our") uses cookies and similar local storage technologies on this website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use "local storage," a similar browser technology, for some of the same purposes. Both let a site remember information about your visit, like whether you're logged in or a choice you've made.
We only use the following categories. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.
| Name / Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Login session (keeps you signed in via Discord) | Strictly Necessary | Until logout or expiry |
| Cookie consent choice | Strictly Necessary | Persistent (local storage) |
| Theme / display preference | Functional | Persistent (local storage) |
| Streamer Mode toggle (staff portal) | Functional | Persistent (local storage) |
These are required for the Services to work at all - primarily, keeping you signed in once you've authenticated with Discord. Because the site cannot function without them, they are not subject to the cookie consent choice presented in our banner, consistent with standard treatment under applicable cookie laws.
These remember a preference you've set, such as a display theme, so you don't have to reset it on every visit. Declining "optional" cookies in our consent banner does not disable these, since they store only a preference you explicitly chose and contain no personal or tracking information.
We do not set third-party advertising or analytics cookies ourselves. However, if you proceed to checkout, Stripe or Tebex (our payment processors) may set their own cookies as part of completing that transaction, governed by their own cookie and privacy policies, not this one.
You can choose "Essential Only" in our cookie banner to decline the limited functional cookies described above. You can also clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser's settings, though doing so will sign you out and reset any saved preferences.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Questions about this Cookie Policy can be directed to our staff team through our Discord server.
